This has got to be one of my favorite bouquets of the year that we’ve created! When Jennifer with The Memory Jornalists asked me to make some bouquets for her vintage inspired photo shoot, I was totally excited! Along with the floral headpiece Jennifer and her lovely girls picked out, isn’t this just fabulous?
The reasons why I love this bouquet so much:
1} The color combo: We’ve got miniature brown cymbidium orchids, two shades of button chrysanthemums {very inexpensive}, a collar of brown feathers, fiddlehead ferns and pheasant feathers.
2} The asymmetry: The feathers jetting off to her left shoulder adds a bit of attitude.
Against the gorgeous backdrop, it’s quite a great compliment!
Thanks to Jennifer with The Memory Journalists for putting this shoot together.

Nadine and John were married 05.23.2009 at Nadine’s families home located in the foothills. Her bouquet as well as her bridesmaids were created with flowers in green hues. The awesome photos were taken by Jillian Bisinger Modern Photography!
Flowers featured included: Queen Anne’s Lace, ‘Jade’ Roses, Green Viburnum, Green hypericum, Ornithogalum, Lisianthus, variegated Pittosporum, and white hydrangea.

This past Friday Dan and Kelly were married at Vintage Gardens in Modesto, California. This sweet couple chose colors of baby blue and deep purple. Kelly was inspired for her all hydrangea bouquet from a photo she found out of the Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine. I know, you are saying hydrangeas in Summer, well… I have a few tricks to making this work, and they held up just perfect! The bridesmaids carried hydrangea and dark purple lisianthus bouquets with accents of glossy camellia leaf. The day was perfect, at around 87 degrees, who could have asked for more! Photos were taken by Mary Gillespie Photography out of Lodi.
